Make A Better World Foundation

"Make A Better World Foundation" is a charity based foundation to help heal the world, help the children, continue MJ's legacy and put a stop to the horrible press and media that destroy wonderful people like Michael.

It is made up of a group of MJ fans and our main goal is to protest against people and businesses that have hurt or is still hurting Michael Jackson. These are the people who either use MJ to help them become famous and successful or believe in the ridiculous allegations and write horrible things about him (like he was a pedo, had millions of plastic surgery, was a druggie etc. etc.). We are here to put a stop to this!!

There are many branches within our foundation, there are those who mainly focuses on protesting, those who focus on helping the environment, those who focus on helping children and just spreading the love Michael had. We are still working on the foundation because we are just starting right now but soon when we have things running we will be hopefully doing performances for charity towards hospitals, orphanages or anywhere we can help people.

There is a link in the "Links" section of my blog leading to the our foundation site but I will post it here as well the site is: http://www.makeabetterworldfoundation.com/ feel free to check it out ^^

Winter Break

So I'm finally done my first semester and officially started my break Thursday night =D The last two weeks leading up to my break was stressful and tiring...didn't get enough sleep at all (still don't really) and had so much to do...in the course of two weeks I had six projects due x___x the only good thing though is I don't have exams only projects ^^

So now that I'm on break I can finally just relax, unwind and do so many other things...gotta finish my Christmas shopping, do some covers =p, hang out with friends and chill at home and with family. Don't really have anything parties or anything planned except for New Years which should be pretty fun...probably gonna get really crazy and hyper (like always hehe)

Another thing is Christmas day will mark the sixth month anniversary (yes i know anniversary means a year but you know what I mean) of Michael Jackson's passing =( Can't believe its already been half a year still feels like yesterday...the pain and the sadness is still so fresh. This Christmas will be extra special because it will be a day to remember and honour a wonderful icon, humanitarian and human being who spent most of his life helping children and healing the world and bringing people of all races and ages together with his music.

On another note I got 3 weeks of break gonna try to make the best of it and just enjoy it even though it freaking cold outside and ITS NOT EVEN WINTER YET!!!! How intense and crazy is that?

Pretty Awesome Weekend

My past weekend has been pretty eventful....let's start off with Friday...well on Friday I um hmmm you know what i don't really remember what I did on Friday so let's skip onto Saturday lol  So Saturday was my best friend's birthday party and let me tell you it was freaking AWESOME!!!! But its kinda a "you had to be there" sort of thing but i'll tell you guys what we did anywayz.

Ok so first there was about 13 of us who went to karaoke and it was fun we sang some old nd new songs (well them mostly i didn't do much singing that day for some reason lol) but one song i did sing was "Old Mcdonald Had a Farm" i mean who doesn't love that song =p

So after karaoke we took the bus back to her place and we ordered dinner which ended up costing us 290 something (there were 20 of us at this point) and let's just say paying the bill nd us don't go well...everytime we need to chip in to pay the bill nd stuff we always either end up with not enough or WAY too much which is so weird...but anyways so we were all over the place there were ppl playing rock band, some on the wii and some playing poker.

After dinner we had cake and omg those cakes were amazing...our birthday song was pretty awesome too we were all sining our own versions of the song nd it ended sounding like random noises but she knows we love her <33

Someone brought sparklers so we decided to go out into the cold and play with sparklers while listening to music (yes it may sound a lil crazy but we're just like that) it was pretty fun we were all running around with sparklers....we did the most dangerous thing one person was holding the lighter and there were like 6 sparklers put to it haha we would've burned the guy's hand off =p

Hmm let's see after sparklers some people went bk to playing the wii and a group of us went downstairs to hear the birthday gurl and her fd sing songs it was very mellow haha then came the opening of presents which was REALLY hectic haha not even gonna go into that but a small group of us ended up staying at her house till 1 in the morning which was nuts

Time sure flies when you having a totally awesome time!!!!

Sunday was a pretty chills day kinda felt really mellow like when your having a hangover or something (not that i've ever had hangovers or done drugs...remember DRUGS ARE BAD FOR YOU) but ya it was pretty chills did only a bit of homework wasn't really in the mood to do much

So there you have it guys my pretty awesome fun filled weekend (well to me anywayz lol)

Here's a pic of the yummy cakes:

Downtown Madness

Wednesday was the worst day to go downtown...its was CRAZY!!! The subway wasn't working from Eglinton to Bloor so we had to take a shuttle to Bloor...and considering the amount of people on the subway, the shuttles were all stuffed with people..you could barely move!! Not only that but when the shutttle stopped ppl started to push and it was painful....like when we got there we were all waiting to get to the door this guy behind me keeps pushing me forward and is like "excuse me excuse me" like omg. So me and my friend ended up being late to class ==

But the worst part was after class...we got off at Bloor and we were heading to get on the shuttle bus but the line up was nuts...it wasn't even like a proper line but it was still a form of a line but anyhoo shuttles kept coming and like i think 5 or 6 came and picked up ppl but we hardly moved from our spot in the line...so me and my friend decided we would walk to Eglinton cuz it would be probably faster than standing in line in the cold waiting to get on a bus. It took us 50 minutes to walk to Eglinton and we were pretty much dead. Normally it took us an hour to get home but that day it took us 3 hours...3 HOURS!!!!!

Worst day ever!!! My foot hurt for the rest of the night and i still had hwk to do when i got home at like 7. It was horrible ><

Worst Weekend Ever

This weekend is so dreadful..i got three projects due next week (one of which i just found out a few hours ago)...even though I'm 75% done two of them I still got 25% left and I still haven't started my third one and that's the hardest one >< On top of that I have to buy materials of an in-class assignment on Monday and I have absolutely no clue what to do for it so i just bought a bunch of random materials which are probably all wrong. Still gotta go buy some more art supplies AND develop pictures. Don't even have time to watch my series and just hang out with friends. UGH!

On top of that I feel like shit right now and I got a MAJOR headache that just won't go away >< hopefully if i sleep on it i'll feel better...hopefully.....

"THIS IS IT"

Sooooooo I went to go watch "This Is It" today with my friend and all i have to say was ITS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!! I loved it soooo sooo sooooo much like omg just watching him up on the stage and just doing his thing is just simply wonderful. Even though Michael hasn't performed on stage for so long he's still got it....that is why he is the KING!!!

But the thing bout watching this is it also makes me kinda sad to know that he's gone and we'll never get to see him perform again ='( Makes me miss him a lot...

Another thing i didn't like was at the time i went to watch there weren't that many people so there wasn't that much hype and energy....the freaking cinema wasn't even full for crying out loud lol there was no cheering or anything that is why i decided i'm definitely going to go watch it again maybe sometime this week...probably a later show so there's more ppl more energy and HOPEFULLY way more hype lol

TODAY IS THE DAY PEOPLE!!!!

Today is the day all Michael Jackson fans have been waiting for...."This Is It" movie tickets are on sale!!!! SOOOO HAPPY!!!! XD

I bought mine online today for the first show on the first day (October 28th) and I just can't wait!! Soo glad that I don't have class that week or else I wouldn't be able to watch it on the first day =D I wonder how many people are gonna be there....I'm probably gonna have to go like 2 hours early or something to make sure I can get a good seat ^^

OMG i'm soo excited just thinking about it...I'm planning to wear my home-made t-shirt =D Just watching the trailer makes me soo happy and crazy at the same time I can't imagine what I'll be like after sitting in a theatre for 2 hours watching only Michael Jackson!!! Wonder what songs I'll here lol

But seeing the trailer also makes me kinda sad because it's like a reminder that Michael is gone and that just gives me such an empty feeling right now....even now when I'm jut writing about it it makes me feel all sad inside and I don't know if any of you feel this but when ur sad and miss someone alot you get this weird feeling inside of you like I don't really know how to explain it but its like something is missing or your longing for something but ya....

Here are some screenshots from the trailer:

VMAs!!!MJ TRIBUTE!!!

Sooooooo just finished watching the VMAs...it was amazing!!! Soo happy for Taylor Swift for winning the best female video although I'm not too happy bought the whole Kanye West incident but Beyonce made it better lol Some of the performances were actually pretty good...lady gaga's was kinda unexpected with the whole blood thing lol

Hmmm wat else about the VMAs was aweomse.....O YEAH!!! NEW MOON!!!!! The trailer was sooo cool can't wait to see it in theatres....hoping that this one will be better than Twilight since they have a bigger budget and a new director *crosses fingers*

AND the biggest highlight of the VMAs i loved the most was *drum roll*.....MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE AND "THIS IS IT" TRAILER!!!! Loved watching the dances of his MVs the choreography is just that good...Madonna's speech was well said made me sad and happy too...good to see Michael had some real fds and when she told that story bout her and Michael it just made me smile. Janet's performance was simply amazing even after all these years of doing the MV she's still got it (though she did fall a bit when she was getting up) but regardless it was still a wonderful performance....loved the part where they cut her out of the original vid and made her look like she was dancing right beside her brother again =) OMG the trailer was beautiful!!! Can't wait to see it in theatres although I'm pretty sure most of us fans would have rather watched it live =( Michael looked like himself and he looks so healthy and happy...miss him so much  =(

LONG LIVE THE KING!!!! LOVE MICHAEL 4EVER!!! <3 <3

Weekend Madness

A lot of things happened this weekend....well for me it feel like a lot =p Okay so let's start with Thursday (ya i know its not really part of the weekend but too bad lol) met up with some friends at pmall and took some pictures...mind you it was REALLY stuffy and hot in the picture machine (tip: don't try to stuff 6 people in a picture machine you will sweat like crazy) but regardless it was still fun got some really nice looking picutres ^^ Then went back to my friend's house, chilled and had dinner (had some AMAZING garlic bread =p)...best part was watching my friend try to fix her picture for her student id lol jks jks (love you gurl <3)

Didn't really do much on Friday in fact i can't really remember what i did on Friday at all :S So moving on to Saturday (Michael Jackson's 51st Birthday) so went downtown to participate in the "Beat It Flash Mob" which I had a lot of fun...there were alot of people who participated and who came to take pictures and film. They did it three times at three different locations (even though i just stayed for two) it was still amazing...the second time we literally did it in the middle of the street and cars just stopped and watched lol After that went to karaoke a bit with my friends before heading back home and finding out that Michael Jackson's Dangerous Concert in Bucharest was on MTV...dat was pretty much the rest of my Saturday night.

Didn't really do much on Sunday either just sat around my computer listening to music and talking to friends on msn...went out to dinner with a friend and went to wal-mart and just chilled and got high off god knows what but that's how we roll =D

Michael Jackson: Forever the King of Pop

As many of you may have know a wonderful musician and a great humanitarian passed away on June 25th (although I still don't say he's dead cause he's still in the hearts of all his fans and lives on through his music) but anyhoo he passed away due to cardiac arrest which the police says is caused by an overdose of Dipravan (aka Propofol) and is treating this case as a homicide. The main suspect right now (who may be charged with first degree or second degree murder) is Michael's personal doctor Dr. Conrad Murray.

I for one believe that Michael was murdered by the doctor and there are facts to back it up:

- for one thing this so-called doctor gave Michael four (or more) different kind of drugs...one every half hour from 1 am to 2:30 am on the day the King died and then gave him propofal at 10:30 am

- when the doctor comes back from the washroom (he says it was 2 minuts max but officers says it was at least 5 minutes) he sees Michael wasn't breathing and the first thing he does is not call 911 but make three other phone calls (one to Dr. Arnold Klein (he gave propfol to Murray to give to Michael), one to his attorney and one mystery call), THEN calls 911 (47 minutes after Michael stopped breathing).

- he performed CPR on Michael's bed and not on the floor where its hard, he also stops CPR to go downstairs to call for Prince (Michael's eldest son) and not an employee or anyone who could help save Michael

- there was a bloody t-shirt found in Michael's closet (the shirt still had the price tag so it was never worn)

- the 911 phone called released to the media (the person making the phone call sounded way too calm as well as the officer receiving the call)

Another thing I find contradicting is that many people who were close to Michael during his last days (Kenny Ortega (director of the "This Is It" concerts), his personal fitness trainer and other people working with Michael all said that he was quite healthy and he also passed a physical test before starting the tour rehearsals. But some other people said when they last saw Michael he was fragile and weak. But if you look the video of his This Is It Rehersal that was showed in news broadcasts he looks quite healthy to me.

Alright so for those of you who may not know Michael here's a short bio:

Michael Jackson's career started at the age of 5 when him and his brothers (Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and later Randy) formed the Jackson 5 (The Jacksons w/ Randy)...they became worldwide superstars after they were discovered by Diana Ross and were brought to perform in front of Motown's Berry Gordy. The Jackson brothers had many hits including "I'll Be There," "ABC," "Ben," "I Want You Back," "Shake You Body (Down To The Ground)," "Dancing Machine," and much much more.Out of all the brothers little Michael became the most famous and later started his own solo career but that wasn't until later on.

It was when Michael was in a movie called "The Wiz" (Remake of the "Wizard of Oz" with an all black cast, Michael played the lion alongside Diana Ross) was he introduced to Quincy Jones (who would later help him produce four albums and many many number one hits).

In 1979 Michael's first solo album "Off the Wall" came out which produced two No.1 hits: "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" and "Rock With You." His second solo album and also the world's best-selling album to this day, "Thriller," came out in 1983, this album produced three No.1 hits including "Billie Jean," "Beat It" and "Say Say Say." It was in 1983 where Michael performed his famous moonwalk during the "Motown 25" performance. It was also this album that helped Michael earn 8 Grammy awards. He  then produced  1987's "Bad" album producing eight No.1 hits including "Bad," "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Dirty Diana" and five others. Michael produced one more album with Quincy Jones, 1991's "Dangerous" which included one No.1 hit: "Black Or White." Michael went and produced thre more solo albums including 1995's "HIStory," (which included "Scream" - duet with sister Janet), 1997's "Blood on the Dance Floor," and 2001's "Invincible."

In Michael's personal life he was married to Lisa Marie Presely from 1994 to 1996 when Lisa Marie filed for divorce, the two still remained friends. In 1996 he married Debbie Rowe who was a former nurse at Michael's dermatologist. They had two children together Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (aka Prince) and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. The two filed for divorce in 1998 and Michael got the custody of both kids. In 2002 Michael's second son Prince Michael Jackson (aka Blanket) was born from a surrogate mother.

Okay back to other Michael news...his 51st birthday is TOMORROW!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! Gonna be going to downtown and doing the "Beat It" dance...if any of you are in Toronto come on down to Dundas Square or the Eaton Center and watch us dance or come join in on the dancing if you want =D I'll be making a post on that too and hopefully i'll be able to get some pictures.

The re-print of Michael's autobiography "Moon Walk" is said to be coming out in October and in this version the intro will be written by Berry Gordy.

There is an official Opus being made for Michael which Michael was working on before his death and is the only official thing that is approved by Michael's Estate. It contains never-before-seen photos, poems and quotes. You can pre-order it right now at half the price and will go on sale November 1st for full price. They will ship it out on December 7th so that all the fans will be able to get it for Christmas.

AEG along with Sony are releasing behind-the-scenes footage and rehearsals of "This Is It' and will be turned into a movie for fans all around the world to view Michael's work which would have made history as the biggest comeback ever!! Kenny Ortega who was the director of the "This Is It" concerts will be directing this movie and it is said that some parts will be in 3-D for a better experience. Kenny Ortega stated:
"The world will see what our team was so fortunate to experience, which was the full commitment, passion and creativity that Michael put into this project. He was the architect of This Is It, and we were his builders. It will also show Michael as one of the greatest entertainers in the world and one of the industry’s most creative minds. This Is It was Michael’s last theatrical work and although it was still a work in progress, I think the footage will show that the process was something that Michael deeply enjoyed and that it was clear that he was on his way to another theatrical triumph."
The movie is said will run for two weeks starting Octorber 28th, 2009 but tickets will start going on sale on September 27th, 2009. It will be in theatres all around the world.

That's all the information I got on Michael right now, as I learn more about his case and other things regarding him I will be making posts and keeping an update..so stay tuned MJ fans ^^
